Hi everyone!! My name is Marie Fulkerson. I currently reside on the outskirts of Louisville, KY. I am a full time Certified Professional Makeup Artist. I also have a focus on hair design.
A little about me…
I first fell in love with makeup at a very young age, but wasn’t allowed to wear it until I was 16 years old with the exception of being on stage! (strict parents :-D) Needless to say I took advantage of every opportunity I could to perform. From school musicals to 7 years competing as a vocalist in the Miss Indiana/Miss America Organization, I found myself constantly trying to perfect my craft…who would have ever thought that it would have turned out to be my makeup and not my music?!
Fast forward to 2011…
I was working for corporate america and booking makeup sessions left and right on the side. The timing just wasn’t right for me to pursue it full time. As the years progressed I knew that this is the path that God had set for me and that I had to follow my heart! In 2013 with the full love and support of my husband, I quit my job of 6 years to live out my dreams of being a professional makeup artist! I flew to Beverly Hills California and became certified. I give this passion of mine 150% and I could not be happier! I am sure you have heard it said before that “if you truly love what you do, you will never work a day in your life,” and I haven’t worked for a second since November of 2013! I am so grateful for my clients and just feel beyond blessed to be doing something I truly love! And even more, there are some pretty awesome perks to being a traveling make-up artist!
The greatest part of my life is that daily I get to love my husband Johnny, my little boy Mac, and my fur baby Ellie. They have blessed me in more ways than I could ever count and they are my reason for living..
